I know you don't know me tiffany, but my husband use to work with george back at tent city. I often think of you and your family and how tragic this still is no matter the time or years that go by nothing could ever take the pain away. My husband and I were laying in bed tonight talking about all the fallen officers and how sad it is and it brought back memories of when george passed, it effects me because you guys are our age and we also have 2 kids I couldn't imagine going through life alone! So I honor you very much! Just wanted to share my thoughts with you. Have a blessed day and happy holidays! Love the kent family

I was looking at the Fallen Officers memorial and remembered George's name and the incident. A Google search pulled up his webiste. It was with great sorrow that I looked at his website and all of the pictures and memories. Even though he was tragically taken from us about four years ago, I still feel sad everytime I drive by his sign on 83rd Avenue. I live in the area and wanted to thank you, George, and the children for your sacrifice. My thoughts are and will always be with Officer Cortez and his family.
