Happy Holidays! I wanted to contact your family because I have recently been assigned to ride in memory of George in the 2008 Police Unity Tour. If you're not familiar with the PUT, it's a 300 mile charity bike ride that raises money for the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial in Washington DC. Each officer that participates in the ride is assigned a fallen officer from the year before to ride in honor of. I feel priviledged to ride in honor of George. I would love to hear back from you.

Happy Thanksgiving in heaven George!! We are so thankful to have had you in our lives for several years. While we wish there were more and more years of memories, we can only be thankful for those that were made. You are a hero and are thought of each and every day. We love you!

Greetings My sympathy to you and your family. Yesterday we had a similar incident in our jurisdiction and I was advised it was similar to your tragedy. Our officer survived. I had a taste of what those close to your husband felt that day. This is my 8th police shooting during my career. We are close to New York City and there are a dozen or so articles on the incident and if you are interested you can Google "Linden Cop Shot" for them. Once again my heart felt sympathy and if it is of any comfort there are others elsewhere fighting the same battle.
